Rolex GMT-Master II Prices in Bangkok, Reference by Reference
The GMT-Master II adds a second hour hand for another time zone and a two-colour rotating bezel, which is where each reference gets its nickname. This is what buyers and Bangkok dealers actually settle at for every GMT in the current catalogue, plus the previous-generation reference that still trades most. Ranges are for watches with box and warranty card.

The Pepsi and Batman figures match our 126710 model page (revised September 2026). Every other row is built from WatchCharts market values for September 2026 and published dealer asking ranges, converted at 32.5 baht to the dollar and trimmed for the gap between asking and clearing prices. Rolex also makes several full white- and yellow-gold GMTs, but too few change hands in Bangkok to set a range we'd stand behind, so they're left out.
Which GMT-Master II to Buy, and Why the Prices Differ
Every reference in the table shares the 40 mm case and the calibre 3285 with a 70-hour power reserve. What separates the prices is bezel colour, metal, and whether the reference is still made.
The bezel is everything. Making a single ceramic bezel in two colours is a process Rolex patented, and the red-blue Pepsi is the hardest to produce. That's why the Pepsi is the most expensive steel GMT and has the longest queue at Thai retailers. The Batman trades about ฿150,000 below it at the median. In Thailand, red also carries auspicious weight with Thai-Chinese buyers, which props the Pepsi up a little further. The Pepsi-over-Batman gap is broken down on the 126710 page.
The Sprite is the cheapest current steel GMT. The 126720VTNR puts the crown and date on the left, for people who wear their watch on the right wrist. That quirk splits buyers: those who want one really want one, but the overall pool is smaller, so it trades a little below the Batman. If you want a current-generation steel GMT for the least money, this is it.
The Bruce Wayne is the new arrival. The grey-black 126710GRNR launched in 2024 and is still hard to get at retail, so it sits above both the Sprite and the Batman, though still below the Pepsi.
Two-tone and gold. The Root Beer 126711CHNR mixes steel with Everose, the 126713GRNR steel with yellow gold. The Root Beer trades well below a steel Pepsi despite a higher retail price — the retail queue is shorter and secondhand buyers value the bezel colour more than the gold. The full-Everose 126715CHNR runs into seven figures, and the gold in the case gives it a price floor when gold is strong.
The previous 116710LN and 116710BLNR. The 116710LN has an all-black bezel, a green GMT hand and the calibre 3186 (48-hour reserve). It's the cheapest way into a GMT-Master II, priced close to the previous-generation Submariner 116610LN. The previous Batman, 116710BLNR, came on an Oyster bracelet only and clears about ฿55,000 below the 126710BLNR at the median. If you want the GMT function and don't need the newer movement, these two are the best value here.
If you're selling, the Pepsi and Batman are the most liquid and move fastest. The Sprite and the gold references take longer to place.
GMT-Master II Price Movement, 2024–2026
We don't have a verifiable monthly Bangkok clearing index for this period, so we use WatchCharts data for the two most-traded references as the barometer:
- Batman 126710BLNR — secondhand prices fell more than 30% from the early-2022 peak but have been fairly stable since early 2023 (down less than 10% between January 2023 and July 2024), and the reference has never traded below retail. Market value in September 2026 was about $17,500
- Pepsi 126710BLRO — market value in September 2026 was about $22,500, within a $20,307–$23,601 range, leading the Batman by roughly $5,000, or about ฿150,000 at the median
The overall picture: steel GMTs have come down from the 2022 bubble and have moved in a narrow band for the last two years.
What the Thai Market Weighs Differently
TH-stamped warranty card. A GMT bought through Rolex's Thai retailer network (Riviera Group) resells better than one carded overseas: the next owner can take it to the Rolex Service Centre in Bangkok without friction, and because the Thai Pepsi queue is long, Thai-carded examples are scarcer than imports.
Box and papers. Steel GMT buyers expect full documentation. A watch with neither box nor card falls clearly below the ranges in the table. Keep the outer box, hang tags and receipt.
Jubilee or Oyster. Several references come on either bracelet. The price difference in Thailand is small, but state which one you have up front when selling — some buyers want one or the other.
How to Spot a Fake GMT-Master II in Bangkok
- Two-colour ceramic bezel — the genuine bezel is a single ceramic piece with the two colours created in manufacture; the boundary should be crisp and straight. Fakes often coat the second colour on top, which shows as a layered edge under magnification. Fake Pepsi reds often lean orange or pink.
- The GMT hand — the local hour hand should jump in one-hour steps without stopping the watch. Many cheaper fakes have a GMT hand that doesn't work independently.
- Rehaut and Cyclops — the ROLEX engraving should align with the hour markers, and the Cyclops should magnify the date about 2.5×.
- Left-hand Sprite cases — many Sprite fakes use poorly adapted cases. Check that the gap between crown guard and crown is even on both sides.
- Movement — the better fakes in Bangkok use a cloned 3285. The only certain check is opening the caseback.
The full checklist is in our Rolex authentication guide. If in doubt, send photos to Khun Naru on LINE before you transfer money.
