The Bangkok Pre-Owned Tudor Market in 2026
Tudor's share of enquiries at Thai Watch Market has grown from roughly 3% in 2020 to around 8% across 2024–2026. The Black Bay family accounts for about 75% of that volume; Pelagos, Royal and Glamour split the rest.
The first thing a buyer needs to understand: Tudor is not a brand where buying used saves you much. Bangkok pre-owned prices sit at 88–96% of 2026 MSRP. Omega used trades at 85–95% of list. Rolex and AP still trade above list. Tudor lands in a narrow band just under retail.
| Reference | 2026 MSRP | Used median | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Black Bay 58 79030 | ฿138,000 | ฿125,000 | ฿13,000 (9%) |
| Black Bay GMT 79830RB | ฿172,000 | ฿152,000 | ฿20,000 (12%) |
| Pelagos 39 25407N | ฿165,000 | ฿158,000 | ฿7,000 (4%) |
So the reason to shop pre-owned is not the discount. It is availability today and access to colourways and references the boutique no longer stocks. If Tudor Boutique Siam Paragon does not have the dial you want, the secondary market is the only route.
What Pre-Owned Tudor Costs in Bangkok (data as of June 2026)
Figures below come from Bangkok dealer transactions January–May 2026, weighted for condition and completeness of box and papers:
| Model | Reference | Low | Median | High |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Black Bay 58 | 79030 | ฿115,000 | ฿125,000 | ฿138,000 |
| Black Bay GMT "Pepsi" | 79830RB | ฿138,000 | ฿152,000 | ฿172,000 |
| Pelagos 39 titanium | 25407N | ฿145,000 | ฿158,000 | ฿172,000 |
Within the Black Bay 58 line, colour moves the number. The 79030N (black) sits at a ฿122,000 median; the 79030B (blue) at ฿128,000. The blue launched in 2020, two years after the black, and Tudor allocated fewer of them to Thailand.
If you are specifically hunting a Black Bay 58, the colour-by-colour and year-by-year breakdown lives on the Black Bay 58 79030 model page.
Which Tudor Suits Which Buyer
| If you… | Look at | Budget |
|---|---|---|
| Have a 15–17 cm wrist and want a daily diver | Black Bay 58 79030 | ฿115,000–฿138,000 |
| Travel often and need a true GMT | Black Bay GMT 79830RB | ฿138,000–฿172,000 |
| Find steel bracelets heavy by evening | Pelagos 39 25407N (titanium, 75g) | ฿145,000–฿172,000 |
| Want vintage Submariner proportions without a Rolex waiting list | Black Bay 58 79030 | ฿115,000–฿138,000 |
| Prefer a plain tool watch over anything dressy | Pelagos 39 25407N | ฿145,000–฿172,000 |
One trap worth naming: the Black Bay GMT is 14.6 mm thick. Try it on before you transfer money. Of the 17 GMT sellers we have logged, 28% sold because of the thickness, not because they disliked the watch.

What Dealers Pay — and Why Buyers Should Care
Bangkok dealers buy the Black Bay 58 and Black Bay GMT at 78–82% of the market range, and the Pelagos 39 at 80–84%. That number is the cost basis of whoever is selling to you.
A 2023 Black Bay 58 79030N, full set with Thai papers, costs a dealer roughly ฿100,000–฿110,000. It goes on the shelf at ฿120,000–฿128,000. That is a ฿15,000–฿25,000 spread.
Which means: a clean full set advertised at ฿118,000 is a genuinely good price, not a red flag. And a listing at ฿145,000 is above the price of a new one — walk to Siam Paragon instead.
How Far Tudor Prices Have Fallen Since 2022
| Reference | 2022 peak | June 2026 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Black Bay 58 79030 | ฿138,000 (Jun 2022) | ฿125,000 | −9.4% |
| Black Bay GMT 79830RB | ฿172,000 (Mar 2022) | ฿152,000 | −11.6% |
| Pelagos 39 25407N | ฿172,000 (Dec 2022) | ฿158,000 | −8.1% |
Against AP, which fell 28–34% from its peak, Tudor has held up unusually well. The main reason is that Tudor raised MSRP in 2024 and again in 2026, which lifts the floor under the used market. All three references have been flat since late 2023.
For a buyer the conclusion is simple: there is no case for waiting. A year from now you will likely pay the same or slightly more.
Authenticity Checks Before You Pay
Fake Tudor circulating in Thailand is well below the quality of Rolex super clones. It is straightforward to catch if you know where to look:
- Snowflake hands — the proportions of the square hour hand are what fakes get wrong most often. Edges must be crisp and the four corners symmetrical
- The rotor — MT5402 (BB58), MT5652 (GMT) and MT5400 (Pelagos 39) all carry "MANUFACTURE TUDOR" engraving, 70-hour power reserve and COSC certification
- Crown — the Tudor shield must be deeply engraved and read as three-dimensional. Fakes are usually shallow enough to look flat
- T-fit clasp — five micro-adjustment positions, each with a definite click. Counterfeits cannot replicate the feel
- Pelagos weight — a grade 2 titanium case weighs 75–80 g. Painted-steel fakes come in at 130–145 g. A kitchen scale settles it
- True GMT on the 79830RB — the hour hand must jump in one-hour steps while the GMT hand stays put. If you have to move the GMT hand instead, it is an "office GMT" movement, not the real MT5652
Pre-Purchase Checklist
- Serial on the case matches the warranty card — if it does not, stop there
- Thai papers vs foreign papers — Thai-carded watches resell for roughly ฿5,000–฿10,000 more
- Count the straps — Black Bay watches ship with a spare fabric or leather strap. A complete set is worth 6–9% more
- Check for polishing — a Pelagos polished twice or more gets a 15–18% dealer haircut. Negotiate accordingly
- Run it for 24 hours — every MT54xx calibre is COSC-certified. More than ±10 seconds a day means it is due for service
How Thai Watch Market Helps
We buy Tudor, we do not sell it. That means we have no stake in the watch you are about to purchase.
- Free pre-purchase authentication — send dial, caseback, clasp and serial photos via LINE
- A fair price range — based on transactions we have actually recorded, not asking prices
- Valuation on your current watch — if you are funding an upgrade, we pay 70–80% of the market range for a watch with box and papers
