Tudor Buying Prices in Bangkok

Market ranges below come from Bangkok dealer transactions January to May 2026 combined with the WatchCharts sold index, weighted for condition and box/papers completeness. Data as of 1 June 2026.

Model Reference Market range (THB) Our buy price, full set (THB)
Black Bay 58 Black 79030N 115,000 – 138,000 100,000 – 110,000
Black Bay 58 Blue 79030B median 128,000 106,000 – 118,000
Black Bay GMT Pepsi 79830RB 138,000 – 172,000 120,000 – 140,000
Pelagos 39 titanium 25407N 145,000 – 172,000 130,000 – 140,000
Pelagos 42 previous gen 25600 median 138,000 97,000 – 110,000

The blue 79030B trades THB 6,000–10,000 above the black 79030N on the Thai secondary market — it launched two years later and Tudor allocated fewer of them. That spread passes through to our buy price almost in full.

Black Bay 58 in 925 silver (79012M, median THB 165,000) and Bronze 39mm (79250BM, median THB 138,000) are quoted per piece after inspection. Thai transaction volume on both is too thin for us to publish a standing range honestly.

Why the Number Comes In Below What You Expected

This is the conversation we have with nearly every Tudor seller. You bought a Tudor because it was the Rolex you could actually get, so you expect it to behave like a Rolex on the way out. The market does not work that way.

Model 2026 MSRP Used median % of MSRP retained
Tudor Black Bay 58 79030 138,000 125,000 91%
Rolex Submariner 126610LN 402,000 420,000 104%
Tudor Black Bay GMT 79830RB 172,000 152,000 88%
Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLRO 525,000 745,000 142%

Rolex steel sports models trade above retail on the secondary market. A Submariner owner selling gets a number higher than what they paid at the AD, which absorbs the dealer's margin invisibly. Tudor trades below retail, because it never carried a waiting list long enough to build a grey-market premium. With no premium to give back, the seller sees the full gap between retail and buy price.

Concretely: a Black Bay 58 bought at AD for THB 138,000 has a market median of THB 125,000 today, and we pay THB 100,000–110,000. That is THB 28,000–38,000 below what you paid. We say it in the chat, not when the case comes out of the box in front of you.

The part nobody mentions: Tudor has barely fallen. Black Bay 58 went from THB 138,000 in June 2022 to THB 125,000 in June 2026 — 9.4% over four years. Black Bay GMT is down 11.6%. Pelagos 39 went from THB 172,000 to THB 158,000. Over the same window the Rolex Daytona 116500LN is down 27.5% from its March 2022 peak, and the AP Royal Oak 15500ST is down 33.7%. In absolute baht, a Tudor owner has lost a fraction of what the seven-figure holders have. The percentage just looks unflattering at sale because the starting number was small.

Box, Papers and Condition — What Actually Comes Off

Situation BB58 79030N BB GMT 79830RB Pelagos 39 25407N
Full set, Thai warranty card 100,000 – 110,000 120,000 – 140,000 130,000 – 140,000
Full set, foreign card around 100,000 around 120,000 120,000 – 130,000
No box, card present 80,000 – 90,000 100,000 – 120,000 around 120,000
No box, no card around 80,000 around 100,000 100,000 – 110,000

What the table says: a missing box costs more than most sellers assume — roughly THB 20,000 across all three references. Tudor is not Omega, where a lost box takes 5–8% off. The onward buyer for a Tudor is an enthusiast on their second or third watch, and that buyer keeps full sets.

A Thai AD warranty card is worth THB 5,000–15,000 more than a foreign one, because the Bangkok resale buyer wants clean access to the Rolex Service Centre in Thailand without having to explain the watch's history.

Pelagos Titanium — Read This Before You Sell

Pelagos 39 uses grade 2 titanium for case and bracelet, about 40% lighter than steel (75g case versus 160g for a Submariner 126610LN). It wears well in 32°C and does not irritate skin. The trade-off is that scratches show more clearly than on steel, and titanium is far harder to refinish back to factory appearance.

The direct effect on your price: Thai dealers cut 15–18% on a Pelagos that has been polished two or more times. The original satin finish is gone and nobody can put it back. If yours has never been polished, say so in the chat and photograph the case flank at an angle to the light. It is worth more than you would guess.

Pelagos 39 also trades above the previous 42mm Pelagos (25600) on the secondary market — THB 158,000 against THB 138,000 — despite the 25600 offering 500m water resistance and a helium escape valve. The 39mm case suits Asian wrists better and the market pays for that.

What We Check on a Tudor Specifically

  1. In-house caliber — MT5402 in the BB58, MT5652 in the BB GMT, MT5400 in the Pelagos 39. All three carry a 70-hour power reserve and COSC certification.
  2. Snowflake hands — the proportions Tudor has used since 1969. Counterfeits usually get the stem length wrong.
  3. Bezel pearl at 12 — genuine lume is bright and holds its blue.
  4. Riveted bracelet — the rivets must have real depth, not a stamped surface pattern.
  5. True GMT on the 79830RB — the hour hand must jump independently in one-hour steps. Many fakes are "office GMT" movements where you adjust the GMT hand instead.
  6. Titanium weight on a Pelagos — the case should sit at 75–80g. A painted-steel counterfeit weighs 130–145g and gives itself away in the hand.

Questions Tudor Sellers Ask

Does the blue Black Bay 58 really fetch more than the black? Yes, THB 6,000–10,000 on the secondary market, and it carries into the buy price.

Is selling to fund a Rolex GMT-Master II worth it? In our records, 41% of Black Bay GMT sellers are doing exactly this. Know the real gap first: roughly THB 600,000 to bridge (THB 120,000–140,000 from us against a used 126710BLRO at THB 745,000).

I'm selling because 14.6mm is too thick to wear — does that hurt my price? No, we pay the same. 28% of Black Bay GMT sellers cite thickness. The market already knows and the price already reflects it.

Does a service at the Rolex Service Centre in Thailand help? Yes, keep the receipt. Tudor uses the same service network as Rolex in Thailand, and verifiable history means we resell faster.

Original bracelet lost, but I have a genuine Tudor NATO strap? We still buy, with a deduction. The riveted bracelet is what the onward buyer is looking for. Send photos and we'll give you the exact figure.
