Every band comes straight off our Bangkok market range as of June 2026: the low end is 72% of the market low, the high end is 82% of the market high, for good-condition watches with a complete set. The full market range for all ten references sits on the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand page.

Atmos clocks, vintage Memovox, Geophysic and Grand Complications are quoted per piece rather than from this table, because provenance and set completeness move those prices more than the reference number does.

Straight Talk — JLC Builds Better Than the Thai Market Pays

This page will not tell you a JLC clears like a Rolex or a Patek, because it does not. Almost every JLC seller who reaches us already knows the watch on their wrist is better finished than the offer they are getting. That gap is real, and it is structural. Four reasons:

1. The Thai resale pool is a niche. JLC needs a horology-literate buyer, not a mass-market one. The cleanest number we have: JLC accounts for roughly 2% of the inquiry volume we handled across 2024–2026. A dealer who buys a Reverso is hunting inside a far smaller pool than a dealer who buys a Submariner, and that risk gets priced into your offer on day one. This is the single biggest reason 62–72% sits below what Rolex, Patek and AP sellers see.

2. Service goes to Le Sentier, and takes 4–6 months. The Reverso reversible case and the Duoface dial are mechanisms a general workshop will not touch. Work routes back to Le Sentier in Switzerland at roughly THB 40,000–80,000 a time, with a 4–6 month turnaround. A dealer who services before display sets that money aside before quoting you.

3. In-house movements most dealers cannot sell. JLC uses 100% in-house calibers — 899/1 in the Master Control, 822 in the Reverso, the 4.9mm-thick 925/1 in the Master Ultra Thin Moon. The technical merit is genuine, and most shopfront dealers cannot communicate it. What they cannot explain, they sell slowly; what they sell slowly, they buy cheaply.

4. Set completeness matters more than JLC owners assume. A Reverso leaves the factory with a certificate of authenticity from Le Sentier. Box, warranty and certificate together add 10–14%, which on a Reverso Tribute Duoface is tens of thousands of baht. Sellers who have lost the certificate rarely realise the figure is that large.

Worth saying plainly: this gap is a liquidity discount, not a quality discount. Most Thai JLC sellers are collectors who have held the piece 5–10 years or more and are rotating a portfolio, not people escaping a brand whose prices are falling.

Why We Pay 72–82% Where Dealers Pay 62–72%

All four constraints above apply to us too. Our cost structure is simply different from a mall retailer's:

  • No pre-sale service. We inspect and resell as-received. That THB 40,000–80,000 Le Sentier bill does not come out of your number. The end buyer decides when to send it.
  • We already hold the JLC end-buyers. The niche problem belongs to whoever has to wait for a walk-in. We sell into collectors who already know what caliber 899/1 is, including the groups that specifically collect vintage Memovox and Atmos clocks.
  • No shopfront, no front desk. Mall rent is money a dealer pushes straight into their buy price. We do not carry it.
  • In-house photography and listing. No third-party commission on the resale side.

What Raises and Lowers a JLC Buy Price

Factor Effect
Box, warranty card and Le Sentier certificate complete +10–14%
Limited edition (Reverso 90th Anniversary, Polaris Geographic) Priced per piece, usually a premium over production
Duoface or Duetto rather than a single dial Higher, per the table above
Le Sentier service invoice within the last five years Removes the first-overhaul risk for the next owner
Aftermarket strap fitted instead of the original Discounted by the original alligator strap value
No box See the no box, no papers page
Reverso flip mechanism with play or stiffness Heavy discount — repairs route to Le Sentier

The Reverso flip is the single most weighted item in our inspection. If yours still clicks home crisply with no play, say so in the chat, because it changes the number.

How to Get Paid Fastest

Step 1 — Send photos via LINE (10 minutes)

What we need:

  • Full dial, with the "Jaeger-LeCoultre" signature legible
  • Case back, or for a Reverso, the case flipped and shot on both sides
  • The rotor through the sapphire back where fitted, showing the "Le Sentier" engraving
  • Alligator strap and the buckle with its JLC engraving
  • Warranty card, box and certificate of authenticity

Step 2 — Quote within 15 minutes

Khun Pimchanok replies with a THB range and the reference from the table above that it is based on.

Step 3 — Inspection across 12 Bangkok districts

Inspection takes 40–60 minutes and covers the Reverso reverse-flip click, which counterfeits render either rough or loose; hand-finished Côtes de Genève on the bridges at consistent depth and angle rather than machine-cut too deep; Master Control dial printing at correct line weight and kerning; rotor engraving reading "Jaeger-LeCoultre" and "Le Sentier" sharp and symmetrical; and the Le Sentier alligator strap with its deep, crisp buckle engraving.

Step 4 — Payment within 90 minutes

Cash under THB 500,000 or inter-bank transfer, with complete AML/KYC documentation.

What JLC Sellers Often Don't Know

My watch is better made than a Rolex — why is the offer lower? Because a buy price measures resale liquidity, not finishing quality. JLC historically supplied movements to Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. In Bangkok in 2026, the group of buyers who know that and will pay for it is far smaller than the group hunting a Submariner. The arithmetic is on the dealer payout percentage page.

The certificate is lost — what does that cost me? A complete set adds 10–14%, and the certificate is part of that block. On a Reverso Tribute Duoface at the top of its band, THB 381,000, that is tens of thousands of baht. Search for it before the meeting. More detail on the no box, no papers page.

Do you buy the ladies' Reverso? Yes, and the band is not lower than the men's. The Reverso One Duetto Q3268120 sits at THB 277,000–381,000 — identical to the Tribute Duoface, which is unusual; most brands discount their ladies' references. See which ladies' watches resell best.

Will you buy a watch that has stopped? Yes, with the Le Sentier service cost deducted. On a JLC that deduction is larger than on a brand serviced locally, because the turnaround is 4–6 months. More on the non-running watch page.

Where does an Atmos clock fit in the table? It does not. The Atmos winds on temperature change, and Thai collectors have been acquiring them more actively through 2024–2026. We quote per piece from the model, the glass and case condition, and set completeness.

I inherited an old Memovox — how do I sell it? Vintage JLC, Memovox from the 1950s–70s especially, is something we buy and place with the specific collector groups we already work with. Paperwork steps are on the inherited watch page.
