Sell a Richard Mille in Bangkok — The Quick Answer
Thai Watch Market buys Richard Mille production references directly in Bangkok. We pay 85–92% of the market range on RM 011, RM 030 and RM 035. Thai dealers with the capital to trade RM at all pay 75–85% of market, and there are no more than three of them in Bangkok.
The two references that turn over most in the Thai RM market:
- RM 011 Felipe Massa Steel — THB 4,080,000–5,980,000
- RM 030 Automatic Steel — THB 3,570,000–5,060,000
Limited Editions and Tourbillons — RM 052 Skull, RM 27-04 — carry no buy percentage. We quote those individually, and they usually route to Phillips Hong Kong or Sotheby's Geneva as a consignment rather than an outright purchase.

Richard Mille Buying Prices in Bangkok — August 2026, Production References Only
| Model | Reference | Buying Price (THB) |
|---|---|---|
| RM 011 Felipe Massa Steel | RM 011 | 4,080,000 – 5,980,000 |
| RM 011 Carbon TPT | RM 011 | 6,375,000 – 9,016,000 |
| RM 35-02 Rafael Nadal NTPT | RM 35-02 | 6,120,000 – 9,016,000 |
| RM 030 Automatic Steel | RM 030 | 3,570,000 – 5,060,000 |
Every figure runs from 85% of the market low to 92% of the market high, for good-condition pieces with box, warranty and a complete service kit. The underlying market ranges sit on the Richard Mille brand page and come from Phillips Hong Kong (May 2026), Sotheby's Geneva and private Asian collector networks.
References we buy that are not in the table. RM 67-02 Sprint (market THB 8,500,000–11,500,000) and RM 055 Bubba Watson (market THB 6,800,000–9,200,000) we also buy directly, but quote per piece against the most recent Phillips comparable rather than off a fixed percentage.
References with no buy price at all. RM 052 Skull Tourbillon (market THB 28,000,000–38,000,000) and RM 27-04 Rafael Nadal Tourbillon (THB 42,000,000–55,000,000) move with individual auction results. Putting a percentage on them would be a fiction, so we do not.
Straight Talk — RM Does Not Behave Like Any Other Brand on This Site
Our other brand pages argue about depreciation curves and days-in-the-case. For RM a different set of facts sets the number, because these are multi-million-baht watches.
1. The Thai buyer pool is countable. RM is under 1% of the inquiry volume we handled across 2024–2026, and roughly 12% of total revenue. Very few pieces, very high value each, and end buyers drawn from a measurable UHNW set. No more than three Bangkok dealers have the capacity to buy at this level — if a general shop tells you it buys RM, ask how many hours until funds clear before you go any further.
2. Provenance sets the price more than condition does. An original-delivery piece from an RM Boutique with the invoice in hand carries real weight with the next buyer. A piece acquired second-hand before you owned it typically discounts 10–15%. This is not about scratches. It is about the chain of ownership.
3. Set completeness is worth actual money. RM ships with a service kit including the strap tool and screw set. A complete set adds 3–5%. On a multi-million-baht base, 3–5% is not a rounding error — on an RM 011 Carbon TPT it is several hundred thousand baht.
4. Authentication matters more here than anywhere else on this site. RM super clones in Asia reach high quality, driven by demand from buyers who want the brand-status display. Our RM process therefore includes X-ray imaging of the movement architecture and material spectroscopy to confirm Carbon TPT, plus serial-number verification with the Richard Mille service centre in Geneva, which takes 2–4 weeks.
5. Servicing costs six figures and takes most of a year. RM service ships to Les Breuleux in Switzerland: 6–12 months turnaround at roughly THB 250,000–650,000. A piece serviced within the last four years carries a 6–8% premium.
What Raises and Lowers an RM Buy Price
| Factor | Effect |
|---|---|
| Original RM Boutique delivery with the original invoice | Our full base price |
| Previously second-hand-acquired example | −10–15% |
| Serviced within the last four years | +6–8% |
| Box, warranty and full service kit (strap tool, screw set) | +3–5% |
| Carbon TPT or NTPT rather than Steel | Higher per the market table — supply is more constrained |
| Ambassador edition (Nadal, Massa, Bubba Watson) | Collector premium for the signature design |
| Tourbillon or Limited Edition | No percentage — quoted per piece |
Should You Service Before Selling? Here Is the Arithmetic
This is the most common question we get on RM, and the numbers answer it. A service within the last four years adds 6–8%. On an RM 011 Steel with a market range of THB 4,800,000–6,500,000, that is roughly THB 288,000–520,000 of uplift. The service itself costs THB 250,000–650,000 and the watch is in Switzerland for 6–12 months.
So servicing in order to sell barely covers itself in cash terms and costs you most of a year. If the watch is already back from Les Breuleux, bring the paperwork and the premium is yours. If it is not, do not send it on our account.
How to Get Paid — Four Steps
Step 1 — Send photos via LINE
What we need:
- The tonneau case from every angle, showing full proportions
- The case back, showing movement architecture and the serial
- Material surfaces in raking light — Carbon TPT must show its 45-degree layer pattern
- Strap and the grade 5 titanium buckle, with the "Richard Mille" engraving visible
- Warranty card and, if you have it, the original RM Boutique invoice — that document alone moves the price by 10–15%
Step 2 — Quote within 60 minutes
Khun Pimchanok replies with a THB range and names the Phillips comparable it is drawn from, not a number pulled from the air.
Step 3 — Inspection across 12 Bangkok districts
Home, condominium or a bank vault — at this level most inspections happen at a bank. The check covers:
- Tonneau case dimensions — RM 011 is 50 x 42.7mm, RM 67-02 is 38.7 x 47.52mm. Counterfeits usually miss the proportions
- Skeletonized movement architecture — the baseplate compared against a reference database, for example the RMAC1 caliber in the RM 011
- Carbon TPT versus carbon fibre — Carbon TPT shows a distinctive 45-degree layered pattern; fakes typically substitute carbon fibre with a different pattern
- Strap and clasp — vulcanised rubber with a specific structure, grade 5 titanium buckle with deep, sharp engraving
- Serial number — verified directly with the Richard Mille service centre in Geneva
Where deep authentication is warranted we use X-ray imaging and material spectroscopy. Khun Naruedol runs that stage.
Step 4 — Funds within 4 hours
Inter-bank transfer with AML/KYC receipts and a detailed inspection report. There is no cash settlement at this transaction size.
What RM Sellers Often Don't Know
Why not 100% of market? Because market price is what the end buyer eventually pays, not what lands in your account today. In a market where RM buyers are countable, the time it takes to find one is risk the buyer carries instead of you. 85–92% is what is left after that risk. The other capable Thai dealers pay 75–85%. The mechanics are on the dealer payout percentage page.
Why is there no table for the Tourbillons? Because RM 052 Skull and RM 27-04 pricing moves with each Phillips and Sotheby's result rather than tracking an index steady enough to tabulate. For those pieces we usually recommend consignment over an outright sale, and we can arrange it with fees disclosed up front. The trade-off is set out on the dealer vs consignment page.
I have lost the RM Boutique invoice — how much does that cost me? The issue is not the missing paper, it is whether the chain of ownership can be shown. A piece that cannot be proven as an original delivery reads as second-hand-acquired to the next buyer, and that is the 10–15% discount. If the boutique you bought from is still reachable, request a copy before the inspection.
The watch came through an estate — can you still buy it? Yes, though ownership documentation matters more than usual at this transaction size. See selling an inherited watch.
I want the market numbers before deciding. Full market ranges for every reference are on the pre-owned Richard Mille page.
