Causes of the Decline From the 2022 Peak
The year-on-year move is small: about -1.6%, from ฿3,861,000 (June 2025) to ฿3,800,000 (June 2026). Almost all of the damage was done between the April 2022 peak and December 2024 (-34.7%). The factors below drove that correction and explain why the price has not recovered since.

2. Official 5711 discontinuation (2021)
Patek announced the end of the 5711/1A at Watches & Wonders 2021 — new supply from AD stopped, pre-owned supply is the only pool.
The announcement spike drove the April 2022 peak; the 2022–2024 correction was that spike unwinding.
3. Global luxury steel sport correction
Bangkok prices track international values (WatchCharts and 2026 price guides), so the Thai curve mirrors the global one: a sharp 2022–2024 correction, then a flat 2025–2026 — a signal that the decline isn't Thailand-specific.
4. Chinese collector demand reset since 2024
Chinese tourists returning to Thailand in Q1–Q2 2026 (+45% YoY) didn't translate to Nautilus demand because Chinese collectors shifted focus to Patek complications (5396 Annual Calendar, 5980 chronograph) over base Nautilus.
