Tudor Black Bay Prices in Bangkok, Every Reference — September 2026

Black Bay is a family name, not one watch. It spans 37, 39, 41 and 43mm cases, divers, GMTs, a chronograph, and bronze and silver models, so used prices vary by more than two to one. The table below separates them by reference.

† These rows are not Bangkok transactions. They are WatchCharts market values or sold listings (January–September 2026 data) converted at 32.5 THB to the dollar. On the Black Bay 58, where we have both sides, Bangkok prices sit clearly above the converted US figure, so read the † rows as the bottom of the likely range. The Black Bay 58 925 doesn't have enough current market data to set an honest range; we price it after seeing the watch.

Everything in the table is a clearing price or market value, not a Chrono24 asking price. Asking prices typically run 8–12% above what watches actually sell for.

Which Black Bay, and Why the Prices Differ

Black Bay 58 (79030) is the most-traded Tudor in Thailand. The 39mm case suits most Thai wrists, and the in-house MT5402 runs 70 hours. The blue 79030B clears ฿6,000–฿10,000 above the black 79030N because it arrived later and Tudor allocated fewer. Tudor Thailand's 2026 retail is ฿138,000, so the used median keeps about 91% of list.

Black Bay GMT (79830RB) and Black Bay 58 GMT are for people who want a Pepsi GMT without Rolex money. The 79830RB's MT5652 is a true GMT with an independently jumping hour hand, but the case is 14.6mm thick, which is why a lot of owners sell. The later Black Bay 58 GMT fixes that in a 39mm case; WatchCharts puts its market value at $4,171.

Black Bay 41 comes in two generations that you need to tell apart. The previous 79230N with the MT5602 has a WatchCharts market value of just $2,572, clearly below the Black Bay 58. The current 7941A1A0NU (Monochrome) is listed at $3,850–$4,300. If you see Black Bay 41 prices that are far apart, check the reference first.

Black Bay 54 (79000N) is the smallest in the family at 37mm, inspired by Tudor's first Submariner of 1954, with a bezel that isn't fully graduated. It suits small wrists and anyone who likes vintage proportions. Market value is $3,460, with WatchCharts sales between $2,999 and $3,750.

Black Bay Pro (79470) is a 39mm GMT with a fixed steel bezel in the style of the Explorer II. Market value is $3,112 within a $2,785–$3,439 range. In the US it trades close to the Black Bay 58, and it's the cheapest GMT in the family.

Black Bay Chrono (79360N) is the panda-dial chronograph. At a $5,095 market value it's the priciest steel Black Bay, but also the most volatile: WatchCharts' market range runs from $3,460 to $6,730, so condition and completeness move this one a lot.

Bronze and 925. The 43mm Black Bay Bronze 79250BM has a $2,497 market value, the lowest in the family. Bronze develops a patina with wear, which some buyers love and others won't touch. The 39mm Black Bay 58 Bronze 79012M sits at $3,416. The sterling-silver Black Bay 58 925 (79010SG) trades too rarely for a reliable current market value.

How Black Bay Prices Moved, 2024–2026

Bangkok medians from our index:

Period Black Bay 58 79030 Black Bay GMT 79830RB
December 2024 ฿128,000 ฿155,000
June 2025 ฿126,000 ฿153,000
June 2026 ฿125,000 ฿152,000

The Black Bay 58 is about 9.4% below its June 2022 peak of ฿138,000, and the Black Bay GMT about 11.6% below its March 2022 peak of ฿172,000. Both have been steady since late 2023, helped by Tudor's periodic retail increases lifting the floor. Tudor never had Rolex-length waiting lists, so it trades under retail, but it also never had a premium to lose.

Black Bay in Thailand — Warranty, Service and Fakes

Thai warranty. Tudor gives a transferable 5-year warranty. Bangkok buyers pay more for a watch bought from a Thai AD, because it goes straight into the local service network without questions about where it came from. Overseas papers sell, just for less.

Box and bracelet. Black Bay buyers are usually on their second or third watch, and that crowd keeps full sets, so a missing box costs more than most sellers expect. The original riveted bracelet is what the next buyer looks for; a watch that's down to a fabric or leather strap sells lower.

Service. Tudor in Thailand is serviced through the same network as Rolex. Keep the receipts; documented history sells faster.

Fakes we see in Bangkok. What we check on every Black Bay:

  1. Snowflake hands — Tudor has used these proportions since 1969; fakes usually get the hand length wrong
  2. Riveted bracelet — the rivets must have real depth, not a stamped pattern on the surface
  3. Lume pip at 12 — genuine ones glow bright and hold their colour
  4. True GMT on the 79830RB, 58 GMT and Pro — the hour hand must jump independently in one-hour steps; many fakes are "office GMTs" where you set the GMT hand instead
  5. Bronze weight and surface — bronze-plated steel fakes don't patina naturally and weigh wrong in the hand
