Every band comes straight off our Bangkok market range for June 2026: the bottom is 75% of the market low, the top is 84% of the market high. Where your watch lands inside that band depends on condition, set completeness and production year. Full market ranges for every reference sit on the Breitling brand page.

Straight Talk — Is Your Breitling on the Wrong Side of 2017?

This page will not pretend every Breitling sells for the same money, because it does not. Breitling went through a major rebrand under Georges Kern, CEO since 2017, repositioning from "aviation chronograph" to "modern luxury sport." The Thai pre-owned market splits its pricing along exactly that line.

1. Pre-2017 references depreciate harder. The Navitimer 01 and the older Chronomat B01 read as dated to a 2026 buyer. Post-2018 references — Navitimer B01 43, Premier B01 — still get asked for by name. If you bought before 2017, this single factor moves your number more than anything else on this page.

2. Anything 46mm and up takes a straight 8–12% discount. Breitling built big in the previous era. The current Thai market sweet spot is 41–43mm, and dealers discount 46mm+ references by 8–12% as standard practice. It is why the cheaper Navitimer Automatic 41 resells closer to the larger references than owners expect.

3. ETA/Valjoux movements clear 10–15% below B01. References running the in-house Breitling B01 chronograph caliber, a COSC chronometer, clear 10–15% better than their ETA/Valjoux-based predecessors. Plenty of sellers never learn that two visually similar watches are priced differently for this reason alone.

4. Sellers all arrived at once. Breitling accounts for roughly 4% of the inquiry volume we handled across 2024–2026, and nearly all of those sellers bought between 2010 and 2018 and now want to exit in the same window. The mix: Navitimer (~40%), Superocean (~25%), Chronomat (~15%), Premier (~10%), Avenger and Endurance Pro (~10%).

The good news is that Breitling is not a brand whose resale collapsed across the board. A piece inside 41–43mm, running a B01, with post-2018 design, still resells at a sensible number.

Why We Pay 75–84% When Shopfronts Pay 65–75%

The gap is not generosity. It is three structural cost differences:

  • No shopfront, no mall rent. Retail floor space is a fixed cost a dealer pushes into every buy price they quote. We do not carry it.
  • No pre-sale service. We inspect and resell as-received, so service money is not set aside out of your number before you are quoted. The end buyer decides when to service.
  • Direct end-buyers. We sell into the Breitling wearer community in Thailand and Southeast Asia rather than waiting for someone to walk past a display case. The carrying time we avoid goes back into what we can offer you.

What Raises and Lowers a Breitling Buy Price

Factor Effect
Box, warranty card and COSC certificate complete +8–11%
In-house B01 movement rather than ETA/Valjoux +10–15%
Recent official service at Breitling Service Centre Bangkok +4–6%
2017+ design era (Navitimer 1, Premier) Above pre-2017 references that read as dated
Case 46mm or larger −8–12%
No box See the no box, no papers page

The COSC certificate is the paper people lose. Breitling ships the COSC certificate separately from the warranty card — a small sheet most owners never filed with the box. Find it before the inspection. A complete set of box, warranty and COSC adds 8–11%, which on a Navitimer is tens of thousands of baht.

How to Get Paid Fastest

Step 1 — Send photos via LINE

What we need:

  • Full dial, with the "B" anchor-and-wings logo and, on a Navitimer, the slide rule bezel clearly visible
  • Case back showing the reference and serial
  • If the case back is transparent, the "B01" and "COSC" rotor engraving
  • The full bracelet or strap (Rouleaux or Pilot)
  • Breitling warranty card, box and COSC certificate

Step 2 — Quote within 10 minutes

Khun Pimchanok replies with a THB range and tells you which reference, movement and production year the number is based on.

Step 3 — Inspection across 12 Bangkok districts

Inspection covers the points where Navitimer and Chronomat super-clones still fail:

  • Slide rule bezel — must rotate, with a sharp and consistent logarithmic scale. Counterfeits print the scale too softly
  • Bracelet — Rouleaux uses a rolling-link structure, the Pilot bracelet has 7-row links; genuine link click is smooth
  • Chronograph pushers — the B01 is a column-wheel chronograph with a distinct pusher feel. Counterfeits typically use cam actuation and feel obviously different
  • Caliber B01 engraving through the transparent case back — "B01" and "COSC" with consistent Côtes de Genève finishing
  • The B logo with anchor and wings — every element sharp and correctly proportioned

Step 4 — Payment within 60 minutes

Cash under THB 500,000 or inter-bank transfer, with complete AML/KYC documentation.

What Breitling Sellers Often Don't Know

My 46mm Navitimer is bigger and cost more new — why does it sell for barely more than the 43? Because the 2026 market wants 41–43mm. The Navitimer B01 46 buys at THB 146,000–202,000 and the 43 at THB 139,000–193,000: under 10,000 apart at the low end, on watches that were much further apart at retail. The 8–12% oversize discount ate the difference.

Mine is also a Navitimer — why is my number different from the table? Check the reference on the case back first. The Navitimer Automatic 41 (A17326) is a time-only watch, not a chronograph, and does not use the B01. It buys at THB 109,000–155,000, clearly below the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43. Same family name, different movement, different price.

The Endurance Pro is quartz — will you still buy it? Yes. The Endurance Pro 44 runs the Caliber 82 SuperQuartz in a titanium and Breitlight composite case, and it is the most accessible Breitling there is. We buy at THB 71,000–105,000. Quartz does not disqualify a watch; it simply sits in a different price band.

What about genuinely old Breitling, like a Navitimer 806? We buy it. Vintage Breitling — Navitimer 806, Chronomat 808 — is a category most Thai dealers turn away. We price those individually on provenance and dial originality rather than from the table above.

Another shop offered 70% of market — is that a lowball? Not by Breitling standards. 65–75% is the normal shopfront range in Bangkok. We pay 75–84% because our costs are structured differently, not because anyone else is cheating you. The mechanics are on the dealer payout percentage page.

I fitted an aftermarket strap — does that matter? It does. The genuine Rouleaux and Pilot bracelets are part of the value of the watch. If you still have the original, bring it to the inspection. More on the strap change page.
